For the last two month, Indonesia has been shocked with caterpillar attack. First in my place, Probolinggo. They attack 8 sub-district in Probolinggo Area. This happened because the caterpillars can't change into cocoon because of the rainy season here. Billions of them hanged in the manggo trees, enter people's house, on people's house wall. So the government sprayed pesticides to the manggo trees, houses, etc.
And after Probolingo atack over, the attack expand to other cities in Java Island. Like Tegal, Bojonegoro, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Lumajang, Jakarta (in small scales), and in Bali too, in Denpasar. (u can search the info from google with the term 'ulat bulu')
The attack extremely cause crop failure to manggo farmer in probolinggo area, and other causatives in other place in Indonesia.
Because of this situation I think I can conclude that:
